Autumn and spring are transitional periods and often accompanied by: flus, colds, sinusitis, bronchitis.

The ideal moment to discover or deepen your knowledge of an essential oil ideal for this time of year: "Essential Oil Ravintsara" (Cinnamonumcamphora CT Cineol ) (leaves)

A little anecdote :

During a conference I held on Malagasy plants a few years ago, a lady shared her amazing results with Ravintsara oil: During a hospital stay, she contracted a nosocomial infection and was sent home by the doctor with high-dosed antibiotic treatment. Unfortunately without therapeutic success. Pretty desperate and very battered, she was recommended to try Ravintsara Oil. She took 8 drops a day and was healthy after 3 weeks.

Traditional application:

With a mixture of Ravinsara leaves and other plants, weak and rickety children are treated. The leaf decoction is inhaled for respiratory infections and flu. Herbal tea is also given for coughs, breath problems and headaches. The crushed leaves are applied to wounds. The oil is more used for infections of the gastrointestinal tract and diarrhea.

The essential oil:

Its smell is fresh and round, without aggression, and also kind to the skin. An excellent choice for sensitive people (elderly, children). A pleasant room perfume that relieves stress and increases concentration.

Here are some other areas of application:

- Muscle pain and fatigue (massage)

- Emotional problems (depression, anxiety ...),

- Nervous weakness (strengthens, but does prevent sleep)

- General fatigue, sudden drop of temperature, emotional shock, sadness ...) (massage oil)

Internal use: Adults (for bronchitis)Take 3 drops 3-4 times a day with some honey.
Massage: 3% solution in a neutral oil (moringa oil, jojoba oil...)
